Amada’s search traffic and especially brand-related search terms were cannibalized by competitors. Chinese producers and their local resellers were bidding upwards of 12SEK per click for Amada’s brand name, location, and relevant products.

Promoting Amada’s presence at Euroblech

With a campaign on Google’s Display network we promoted Amada’s participation in global events EuroBLECH and the announcement of new products. We reached stepped out of the tested waters of Sweden and Denmark and promoted around Hannover in Germany when the concentration of attendees in preparation and during the event was the highest so that whenever the audience googled the event, read relevant industry publications, or used travel applications - Amada’s ads showed up.

Promoting Ventis and FLW Machines

The core of our campaigns have been the Ventis-AJ Fiber Laser Cutting machine and a later addition of FLW Le laser welding machine. We have disrupted the dominance of Bodor, GWKlaser, and XTlaser in search results for fiber laser and laser welding in SE & DK, establishing a solid Top of the Page position in 74.04% searches. The messaging of our ads like “4KW Power, 6KW Cut” and “Ventis-AJ: Laserevolution” have received a great response from the audience - generating 93 000 Impressions and 2 000 clicks at a ~3% engagement rate, outperforming the benchmarks on all metrics.
